I am a mother + worker + student + traveler + lover + somehow managing to write about it all. I am midwest raised with small town values. I have now started my migration to the west coast and have currently picked Arizona to start my family. 

I am newly engaged to Jakob Junis, who I feel like I have known forever. In high school, we showed zero interest in each other. I thought he was a bigheaded jock + he thought I was a weirdo (we've admitted this). But after high school, our tech savvy world took control + we started snap chatting and texting. I opened up to him about my mom and I was able to see a completely new side to this quiet man. He was intelligent, kind, and the most passionate yet humble person I had ever met. Then BOOM! Couple years later we had twins. 

Finding out I was pregnant at age 20 was a shock, but never was it a disappointment. After losing my mother a year before, I felt that having a baby was exactly what I needed to heal, yet it was never planned...especially not twins. However, I instantly felt blessed when I found out. I have never been fond of the saying, "double the trouble". People can actually very negative with their remarks about twins. I have always seen it as 'both my hands + heart are full' because it truly is a blessing. 

Here they are. MY twins. Penelope Jane and Jones Lee. They have forever changed my life + shown me what it is like to feel needed + have a purpose. I have never been that person who had a natural knack for kids, so it is a learning process for both Jake + I. But we sure are loving every minute of it.
